In 2013, Hyundai Motor initiated its first long-term partnership, a ten-year commitment to National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), the nation's foremost cultural institution. Over the past decade, our collaboration has been dedicated to the expansion of Korea's contemporary art community, transcending borders to engage a global audience and facilitate access to the dynamism of contemporary Korean art. Our joint initiatives encompass the MMCA Hyundai Motor Series, an annual large-scale solo exhibition by esteemed Korean artists, and PROJECT HASHTAG, an interdisciplinary call-to-action for experimental collaboration amongst the next generation. Our partnership aspires to contribute significantly to the enrichment of Korea's artistic and cultural landscape, and expand its global reach.
