About the Video
Interactive art is about how we engage with the world. Just looking is an interactive experience, but with phones in every pocket, are we all co-creators? Or have we become something more...machine? This month we talk Interactive Art with pioneer Scott Snibbe, whose 40-year-plus career has focused on interactivity and infinite expressive potential. His interactive multimedia works - apps, AR, and installations with collaborators such as Bjork highlight the interdependence of living systems and has revolutionised the way that we engage with art. We also meet artist Daito Manabe, who is pushing the boundaries of what it means to interact, perform and partner with technology through body moshing, electric shocks, real time performances and dancing with drones.

About the Program
In 2018, Hyundai Motor extended its partnership with Bloomberg to produce “ART + TECHNOLOGY,” a video series exploring science and technology, and how the breakthroughs impact contemporary art and everyday life. The series spans multiple seasons, with a new area of focus each year, including robotics, the blockchain, and AI. Our partnership with Bloomberg creates opportunities for audiences worldwide to connect across boundaries by engaging with art and new ideas. New episodes of “ART + TECHNOLOGY” will continue to be released through Spring 2024, available to stream for free online along with our first Bloomberg series, “Brilliant Ideas.”
